About V. Coffee

Thank you for your interest in our company. We are a close team here at V. Coffee eager to bring you the best coffee experience you've had in China, or maybe even anywhere.

Our humble story started mid 2009 when I met up with my brothers in law in Hong Kong, one of whom had been roasting coffee in Austria for the past 40 years under the name Gelautz Kaffee. After bouncing lots of ideas around, and largely due to the dearth of great coffee in China, we came up with the idea of opening a boutique roaster in Shanghai. Our goal, then and now, was to keep the high quality standards of Austrian coffee roasting alive and translate them to the new setting of Shanghai.

Two years on our plan has so far worked fantastically! Our customers are mainly expatriates but increasingly also Chinese who have gained a taste for premium, fresh roasted coffees. We roast only high quality, 100% Arabica, blended by ourselves to suit different tastes and budgets. Our goal is to not only deliver a premium product, but to do so at a fair price for everyone involved, including of course the customer.
