By far the biggest producer of coffee, Brazil is a staple at any coffee roaster. Brazilian coffees are generally good and well balanced with lots of sweetness, making them an indispensable part in most espresso blends. But even by themselves these coffees are very enjoyable.
Together with our Bolivian Copacabana Organic this is one of my two favorite breakfast coffees. Super smooth and sweet, nice body and mouthfeel and very well balanced. This is a prime example of an extremelly drinkable coffee, not overly complex or challenging, but in my book that's perfect for the wee hours of the morning.
Tasting Notes: Aromas of candied nuts and cloves. Mellow and smooth acidity. Medium to full body. Flavors of roasted peanuts and dried fruits, some floral hints. Slightly dry finish.
